TUESDAY 4-24
Project options - Declare a choice.
1. Community Project (community service credit)
• A video about the school. 
one minute to two minutes long.
• A collection of photos - 40 or more.


2. My totally selfish yearbook, for my close friends and I. 10 pages. (no community service credit)


 MONDAY3-12
For Today - Due at the end of class.
Open yearbook avenue, open a practice page and name it last-first-collage-3-12.
Find the images in a folder called AAAA For today and make a spread titled Collage.  Try to use all the images in the folder on the spread.  Consider design and color as well.

Screenshot your final spread and submit to chalkboardv@gmail.com as last-first-collage-3-12.

MONDAY 2-26
Working on the pages.  Getting the pages done :)  Admin approved Senior last words. We can submit pages now.

THURSDAY 1-18
Everybody is responsible for 4 trvelers, one from each grade level 9-12. 20 pts possible:
Steps

1. Make a traveler for each grade using of course a different pic and also a different vehicle (space ship, flying saucer, airplane, hot air balloon etc.
2. Name your files last-first-traveler-9,10,11,12 (depending on which grade it is)
3. Upload to your Goog drive.
4. Share with chalkboardv@gmail.com with share note last-first-traveler-9,10,11,12  to get credit .

Steps in photoshop: 

• Open both images, the space craft and the portrait, in photoshop. 
• Use a selection tool to make a window to put the face in.You can use either the eliptical marquee tool or the magic wand.
• Click on the portrait and Select All from the menu
• Click on the space craft pic and do Paste Into from the menu
• Resize the image to fit with Command T
• Use the magic eraser to get rid of the white area surrounding the image
• Save As .png

Here are some vehicles you may work with (for the uber lazy) but it's best if you find your own.

Create a similar design to this.  Create a practice page called last-first-background-4 You can use your own color ideas - just remember "No flat boring backgrounds.  Save your work

Finish the Halloween page less pics.  Have it all ready to go for Tuesday's costume festivities.
